Zimorena (Silverstone) x Zirocco Blue
Zimorena was one of Katie's front running Show Jumping mares! She was the winner Lady Rider of the Year; Winner Silver Final - Showcase of Showjumping, Sydney; Winner Equidays $10,000 derby 2 years in a row; 2nd Hastings World Cup 2012; as well as many minor wins and placings in Grand Prix.
SIRE: Under Jur Vrieling he has achieved several very impressive international results. They won the Team Gold Medal at the European Championship and individually were 5th. In the Las Vegas World Cup final they finished 10th. The World Cup of Oslo, the Grand Prix’s of Kopenhagen, Melsomvik (2x) and Geesteren, the Masters in Mechelen - all saw Zirocco wearing the winner’s sash. As a member of the Dutch team they won the Nations Cup of Rotterdam, Kopenhagen and Gijon. In the Dutch Jumping Championship he was 2nd.
Not only in sport but also in breeding Zirocco Blue is exceptional. His first offspring are competing at Grand Prix level with many achievements: Deep Blue Bridge S placed 3rd in the Grand Prix of Arezzo; Dazermie won Knokke’s Grand Prix; Daylinde won six international classes - among them the 1.45m classes at Geesteren and Ommen; Dobbey won a 1.45m class at Lichtenvoorde; Delvecchio won several 1.40m classes, and Dirocco B won twice in Brussels.

Denise: Flower Power x Indoctro
Indoctro is another of those hugely successful Capitol / Caletto II crosses. His dam Vanessa VII also produced two full brothers, C-Indoctro II and the Olympic showjumper, National Guard ridden by Fahad Al Geaid. Indoctro has been such a success as a sire for the KWPN studbook, that at the age of 16 he received the title: ‘Preferent’. Famous offspring include: Nike (Katarina Offel) a finalist at the Olympic Games in Athens, 2nd in the Grand Prix of Valkenswaard and 3rd in the Grand Prix of Arezzo; VDL Maserati, who won the Derby of Valkenswaard, 2nd in the Fidelity Grand Prix and 7th in the Derby of Hamburg; Nadia (Georgina Bloomberg) who won the Challenge Cup of Wellington and was 6th in the Grand Prix of Las Vegas, and Nobel (Maikel van der Vleuten) who won the Grand Prix of Compiegne. In the USA, Indoctro was named the USEF jumping sire of the year. He ranks in 10th place on Bernard le Courtois list of the top 75 stallions of 2006. In 2007 he ranked 6th on the German FN jumping rankings but no longer features on the 2013 list. DAM FLOWER POWER: Flower Power was Jeff McVeans hugely successful worl Cup mare, she is the mother of Delphi who was 6th IN THE WORLD at the World Cup Final in Leipzig Germany, 4th in the CSI5* Grand Prix of St Hertogenbosh, 2nd CSI4* in the World Cup at SPRUCE MEADOWS, 4th in the CSI5* CN Grand Prix at Spruce Meadows, jumped 2 clear rounds at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky. She ls also the mother of Daffodil, who won World Cup after World Cup in NZ, won the Olympic Cup and the Silver Fern Stakes in the same year at HOY. Also the mother of Delilah who won Gisborne World Cup in NZ, was 2nd in one of the biggest WC Tracks NZ has ever seen at Hawkes Bay A&P one year, has gone on to Australia to be jumping and winning & placing in the biggest classes.

Daffidol x Carrera VDL 2017 Colt
SIRE: Carrera is a striking and interestingly bred horse from a combination of two Olympic stallions. Sire, Cardento, won three Silver medals under Peter Eriksson at the Olympics, the World Championship and the European Championship. As a sire Cardento is a producer of international jumping offspring who participate at European and World Championships and the Olympic Games. Grand sire, Baloubet du Rouet, was Olympic Champion with Rodrigo Pessoa; a three-time winner of World Cup Finals; and also claimed the winner’s sash in several GP’s and World Cup Qualifiers. Baloubet du Rouet is also famous as the sire of VDL Bubalu, Palloubet d’Halong and Chaman among others. Continuing in the line is Nurzeus, a stallion that sired many good jumpers such as Midnight Madness, Zippo, Ennio, etc.
Carrera’s dam is an international 1.45m jumper, and is a halfsister to the famous international jumper stallion Tinka’s Boy, winner of many GP’s and World Cup Qualifiers plus the final with Markus Fuchs. SIRE: Kannan is a super well-bred stallion with winning ways and winning offspring! He carries blood from all the important jumping breeds of Europe: Voltaire, Furioso, Nimmerdor, Gotthard, Farn, Le Mexico – all great progenitors of modern jumper breeding.

We look for him to provide scope, size and power, suitable for jumper courses or hunter ring, as his technique and movement are excellent as hunter type. Emilion VDL X Cardento VDL Rising 3yo
Cardento is ranked 13th in the WBFSH Ranking for Show Jumping Sires of 2015 and is placed very high in the index's of several studbooks. In Sweden, Cardento is the leader with an index of 156.Jumping Index Germany: 165.

The pedigree of Emilion exemplifies performance. His ‘Keur, Preferent’ IBOP-A’ dam, Ramirha, is a daughter of the full-sister of the Holstein legend Lord. Emilion is much like Lord - a true sire of jumping horses, not only as a sire, but also as a dam’s sire.
Based on the fantastic performances of his direct offspring and his great achievements as dam’s sire Emilion was awarded with the predicate ‘Preferent’ at the age of 28. Emilion’s own performances are impressive. Guided by rider, Ulrich Kirchhoff, he won the World Cup of Mill Street, and placed in the following Grand Prix: 2nd in Donaueschingen, 4th in Valkenswaard, 5th in London and 6th in the World Cup at Aarhus. With the German team, he was 4th in Dublin and Rotterdam, and 2nd in Bremen.
As a sire, Emilion belongs to the world’s best jumping horse producers.

Clara: Lara I x ES Centavos Rising 2yo
Lara I is the dam of Casebrooke Lomond, owned by Katie and Sheena Ross. Lara 1 (x Calido I) was an international grand prix mare imported to NZ by Goldengrove Studfarm and sold to Bert Elstob. ES Centavos (x Escudo) had a incredible competition career in NZ winning the Olympic Cup and the Silver Fern Stakes in 2015. He had one international campaign and represented New Zealand at the Furusiyya Nations Cup in Ocala, FL 2016.
Grand sire Escudo I was also a successful competition horse. He won the Hanoverian Show Jumping Championships at Dobrock under Joachim Winter in 1996, and he became Vice Bundeschampion in Warendorf, followed by various successes up to advanced level. Winter fondly remembers, Escudo I is said to pass on his show jumping scope and brilliant type to his offspring. “His progeny are easy to recognize”, says Joachim Winter, “They are all fighters with expressive heads, careful over the jumps.”
Clara was purchased as a weanling in 2016 and is owned by the Laurie/Mcvean/ Shore Group.
